About Course

Prepare your child for 11+ success with this comprehensive, step-by-step English mastery course. Designed specifically for Year 4 and Year 5 students, this course bridges the gap between standard school literacy and the advanced requirements of entrance exams.

This hidden-word game is not available.

We move beyond basic reading and writing to tackle the high-level skills examiners look for. Students will dive deep into complex comprehension, learning to master both direct retrieval and the subtle art of “reading between the lines” through inference. Our dedicated vocabulary modules transform “simple” writing into sophisticated, high-scoring prose by introducing ambitious word choices and the “Show, Don’t Tell” technique.

What this course covers:

  • Advanced Comprehension: Proven strategies to decode difficult texts and answer complex questions with speed and accuracy.
  • Vocabulary Expansion: Building a “word bank” of academic and descriptive language essential for Verbal Reasoning and Creative Writing.
  • Grammar & SPaG Mastery: Eliminating common errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar that often cost students easy marks.
  • Creative Writing Excellence: Learning how to structure stories and descriptions that stand out from the crowd.

Whether your child is just beginning their 11+ journey or looking for that final boost in confidence, this course provides the tools, practice, and clarity needed to excel on exam day. Give your child the competitive edge they need to secure their place at their target school.
